The speculation about the DS 2 is leaning more towards rumor, becaues its not been official confirmed. However, the DS Lite Compact HAS.

This is the official leaked concept for the next DS Lite! This is new Nintendo DS lite, is much smaller and lighter than the DS lite, however at the moment we are unable to confirm GBA compatibility.

NB speakers are clearly visible at 6 seconds they are underneath the buttons and are 3 dots on each side.

This is confirmed from one of our sources to be hitting the stores Q3 09 bundled with a new nintendo slot one card which allows movies and mp3s to be played through the DS. It will be released at an approximate price of $300.

Confirmed specs:

WiFi: Up to 50m range & WPA support
Radio: AM/FM support
Media: Support for movies and music with TF compatible slot one card
Screens: Sharper with 6 brightness settigns (incl off)
Battery: 2000mAh up to 20hrs playtime
Mic: Higher quality

It's true.

I just came across this little tidbit and found it quite interesting.

I don't know how many of you saw the original FFXIII trailer, and the little 360 logo that appeared at the end, but at E3 they officially announced it again.

In the western market, FFXIII will be released on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. FF is no longer a Sony Exclusive... And apparently thats angered alot of the fanbase (as expected)

FFXIII will be released in Japan on the PS3, then worldwide on PS3 and Xbox360 (Xbox doesn't really have much of a place in the japanese market xD not like the US anyway)

Hellsing Volume 9 will be released in North America on October 18, 2008. *loud fanboy squeal of delight* It has also been announced that Hellsing Ultimate will be picked up for distribution by Funimation, and will re-release 1 - 3 and release 4 on September 16, 2008. ;D
